Hong’s DJ journey began in his teenage years in Melbourne’s western suburbs, where he started spinning RnB and hip hop at house parties. Saving up for his first Technics 1200 turntables, he developed his craft and soon moved on to clubs and events. As music trends shifted, his sound evolved with them, blending genres and adapting to new styles while always keeping the dancefloor moving.

After a long break, Hong returned in 2019 as DJ HongStarr, rejoining the Latin dance scene with fresh energy. Since then, he has become a regular at local events and festivals, known for his versatility, infectious style, and ability to keep crowds engaged from start to finish.
